The service

Link for You is a free service to create short links and QR codes. It is provided "as is", without guarantees of availability or of keeping the links forever. We may change or stop the service at any time.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the links you create. It is not allowed to use the service to point to illegal content, phishing, malware, spam or content that infringes the rights of others. Links that break these rules, or that we are asked to remove by a competent authority, may be disabled without notice. Destinations are checked against Google Safe Browsing when links are created and every day after that, and anyone can report a link.

Some destinations can not be shortened, to keep links transparent: other link shorteners and redirection services, IP loggers, temporary tunnels, addresses with an IP instead of a domain name and URLs with a user name or password.

Custom aliases are given on a first come, first served basis. Aliases that impersonate brands or people, or that are misleading, may be disabled like any other link.

The management key gives full control over a link. Keep it private: we can not recover it nor identify the owner of a link without it.

Liability

We are not responsible for the content of the websites the short links point to, nor for the use that third parties make of the links or QR codes.

Intellectual property

The design, texts, logo and code of this website belong to JavocSoft or are used with permission. The QR codes generated for your links can be used freely.
